Just like cell phone protectors these are a pain to apply, had one lense go on perfectly, the next 3, the pull tab ripped off from the cover, third one would not lay flat and when worked out the bubble left visible trace lines from working it out. Fourth one would not separate from the cover and it all came off. Also the wet pad was no different than the dry pad. Fortunately I have prepackaged wipes for this.

Cheap Junk, Stay far away.The first issue is it comes with a set of wipes, wet and dry. The only issue is they are both dry and not designed for sensitive glass, They are designed for hardened glass used on smart phones, and on top of that, the wet wasn't wet at all. It looked similar to the consistency of light grade sandpaper. Seeing how they just shipped me a wet whip completely dried out, shows this is likely some Chinese overstock from the mass smart phone production run about 3-5 years ago. I did not risk damaging my lenses with these, and instead used my own lenses cleaner wipes I own for my retina screen and other sensitive electronics. I really like the Hyperskin line for the Vive but I am going to warn you up front that these protectors may try your patience. They are worth the time and effort just to keep your inner screen from getting scratched. What you need to keep in mind is that the tiniest air bubble can really make the picture on the screen inside the headset a mess as your eyes are so very close. I was able to get the one side on almost immediately without issue. The other side, however, was more of a challenge and I did end up with a bubble that I did end up tearing. No blame whatsoever should go to Hyperskin, these protectors are good and are very clear if applied correctly. Give yourself plenty of time and keep your cool. Theres a sad lack of options for lens protection even with careful storing and only cleaning the lens as a last resort you will still get scratches on the lenses they are the most disappointing factor to me (out of the box). I needed peace of mind because I can't do anything about the damage already done just try to prevent it from getting any worse. Update 5/26- I'm still using this for the past 6 months. At this point, I'm impressed I haven't experienced any major issues with peeling anymore. Of course, I still have the second pair in my Vive's box just in case I need to replace it. At this point in time, all of the pains of installation are merely in the past, I'm able to freely enjoy my Vive without fear of damaging the lens; so this product is admirably doing just that. These Lens Protectors are somewhat a pain to get them on just perfect. But that's my OCD or you. Just make sure you use the wipes they provide, and make sure your hands are extremely clean, as in zero oil on fingers. Use alcohol on your hands, and that will help prevent getting any fingerprints on the sticky side of the protector. Your not supposed to touch that side, but you will. It happens. Also, make sure you are not in a area that has a breeze, like air conditioner running or a fan on. You WILL get little tiny specks of hair or dust under the lens protector and then its pretty much done then.My only con about this product is that when I got mine, I only had 1 set of lens protectors in it. The front camera protector was a perfect fit, although, I wasn't sure if there was a secondary film on top to remove or not. Be careful when removing the first film, though, the tab breaks off very easily. The lens protectors, are the reason you bought these, though. I really wanted to like them. The material seems to be pretty good, however, it's impossible to line these up perfectly and when you do, you'll be frustrated beyond words on losing 3 hours of meticulous fitting and re-fitting a bazillion times over to find out that the secondary green film doesn't freakin' exist. Yeah, you pull that #2 tab and it leaves this horrendous glue laden mess smack in the middle of the lens. What to do!? Well, I tell you what you do. I had to wait to make a final statement on this review.First, there are two complete sets that come in the box which is great in case you mess up the first time. It comes with a little squeegee, eye lens protectors, camera protector and a wet and dry cloth for pre-aplication. The actual protectors are foiled from both sides which have to be taken off one side just before the application, second after applying and squeegeeing it. You might be familiar with the type of the smartphone protectors of a kind, yet these are little different. More like zagg after taking the film out. More thick and definitely not as cheap plasticky, MOST IMPORTANTLY, it cures after a day!
