VINTAR 45W Universal Travel Adapter, Ultra Thin International Power Adapter

Such a game changer. Compact and easy to use compared to my other one.

Perfect

It is what I wanted for travel. I have not put it to use yet.

Junk. Seems like a neat concept but if you connect two phone to the two USB-C port both phone will cycle between charging and not charging every few seconds. It will charge one phone off of the either of the two ports just fine but why even have two if you can't use both. Again its a nice concept but I'll be sending it back in favor of a cheaper one that doesn’t have any USB C ports.

This is a very slick design for a pass-through converter. It's small, the prongs well designed, and offers a good variety of USB outputs. It is clearly designed for portability and I expect to take it with me on overseas trips. The power output from the USB ports is a bit of a problem. It is advertised as a 45 watt output system, and is if you only use one USB-C port. But use two of any of the ports simultaneously and the output drops to 20 watts. It becomes a low power-only charger.

I really like the design of this travel adapter. It is noticeably thinner and more compact than many universal adapters, which makes it easier to pack and less bulky when plugged into the wall. The built-in US, EU, UK, and Australia-style plugs also make it very convenient for international travel. The port selection is good with 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports. A USB-C port can provide up to 45W when used by itself, while a USB-A port can provide up to 15W when used alone. For me, having an AC outlet along with a fast 45W USB-C port is enough for most situations. If I need more power, I can simply plug a separate charger into the AC outlet. The main limitation is if you plan to use multiple built-in USB ports at the same time. Once multiple USB ports are being used, the USB output is capped at …

I've used VINTAR travel adapters before and have always been happy with them, but this upgraded version is much better than the older ones I own. Those are noticeably thicker and slower, while this one is slimmer, easier to pack, and charges faster. I tested it during my trip to Turkey and it worked like a charm the entire time. The versatility is probably what I like most. Between the different international plug options, two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, and the regular outlet, I could use the same adapter for my phone, watch, and other electronics instead of carrying several chargers. The 45W charging is also noticeably quicker than my older VINTAR adapters. It takes up very little room in my bag and worked perfectly during an actual international trip, so this will be the one I travel …
